STATUTORY DECLARATION ON RTI ACT

Section 4(1) (b) of RTI Act 2005 covers the statutory declaration of SHRI CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI COLLEGE, OMERGA, on college website www.scsco.org.in. It covers all the rules and regulations which are implemented by Govt. of Maharashtra. Our College is run by BHARAT SHIKSHAN SANSTHA, OMERGA which is registered under society act by Govt. of Maharashtra and affiliated to DR. BABASAHEB AMBEDKAR MARATHWADA UNIVERSITY, AURANGABAD, and Maharashtra. The college has recognized under section 2f and 12B of UGC Act. The College has a Governing Body which is approved by the authority appointed by Govt. of Maharashtra. It runs as per rules and regulations made by the Govt. from time to time. The accounts are audited and certified yearly with remark regarding maintenance of financial transactions. The College has different Bodies to maintain all types of disciplines in the campus. The College has different bodies/cells and committees to maintain all types of disciplines on the campus. All these Cells and Committees of the institution are under statutory bodies and come under section 4(1)(b) of RTI Act 2005. The applications under the RTI Act, along with a postal order/demand draft for Rs.100 obtained in favour of Principal, Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji College, and Omerga may be sent to the Principal or handed over in her office. All information about the college under section (1) (b) of RTI Act 2005 hence, are open for the public and any of them can be obtained by a citizen of India.
